Drainfield Installation
Drainfield Installation in Conroe
The drainfield is where a septic system quietly does its real work, and it is the part most likely to fail when it is undersized. Mavia builds gravel trench and plastic chamber leach fields sized straight from your perc rate, so treated effluent soaks into the soil instead of surfacing in the yard or backing up into the house. Many of the finished fields in our Conroe portfolio replaced tired ones that had simply run out of capacity.
Why the Drainfield Size Matters
- Perc rate drives everything. Conroe soils range from sandy loam to heavy clay, and the field length has to match how fast that soil actually drains.
- Even distribution protects it. A properly set distribution box splits flow across every lateral, so no single trench gets overloaded and clogs early.
- Chambers suit tight lots. Gravelless chamber systems fit where a conventional gravel trench field will not, a common fix near League Line Road.
Our Process
We start with the perc test and confirm the seasonal water table. We lay out the trenches to the permitted length, install the distribution box, and set perforated pipe in washed gravel or plastic chambers wrapped in filter fabric. The county inspects the open field, and then we backfill and restore the grade to shed water away from the system.
